  • How do I choose a roofing contractor?

First off, make sure your contractor is fully licensed and insured with the CCB. You also want to ensure that they are free of any homeowner claims.

Secondly, ask for a copy of the contractor’s license and proof of insurance. To ensure you get the highest quality of services, you need to be sure your contractor is working within industry standards and local regulations.

Thirdly, if they are advertising a product they use, make sure they are certified to handle that product. This will help you get the best manufacturer warrantees and perks available. A certified installer means they have been factory trained in the proper installation of that particular brand.

  • What do I do if my roof is leaking?

If you notice a leak, you need to address it as quickly as possible to prevent further damage. First, place a bucket under the leak or a tarp over the leak and then call us. We offer 24-hour emergency services, including inspections and repairs.

  • How do I know if my roof needs repair or a complete replacement?

Signs your roof might need repair or replacement:

    • Missing or damaged shingles
    • Leaks
    • Visible wear and tear
    • Sagging roofline

We can conduct a comprehensive inspection to assess the condition of your roof and help you determine the best course of action.

  • How long will a roof replacement take?

The timeline for a roof replacement depends on several factors:

    • Weather conditions
    • Complexity of the project
    • Size of the project
    • Materials used

That being said, in most cases a roof replacement takes two to four days.

  • How long do roofing warrantees last?

It depends on the manufacturer. Some warranties last six years and some are lifetime guarantees. We offer several options. We also offer a five-year labor warranty.

  • Can I install a new roof over my existing roof?

Oregon codes allow a maximum of three layers, but it’s not recommended. Stacking up layers of roofing materials can cost more for later removal and makes it more expensive to perform repairs when you have leaks and other issues.

  • Will my homeowner’s insurance cover my roof replacement or repairs?

Homeowner’s insurance may help with some repairs and, in some cases, even complete roof replacements. We’ll assist you with your insurance claim by providing a detailed report of damage, and we’ll work directly with your insurance company to ensure you receive the coverage you deserve.

  • Do you offer financing options?

Yes, financing is available through ProFund, which allows you to access over 20 lenders and find the best options.

  • What maintenance does my roof require?

To your roof in top condition, we offer:

    • Annual comprehensive inspections
    • Removal of debris from the roof and gutters
    • Damage mitigation
    • Moss removal

  • Is it ok to pressure wash my roof?

It’s fine if you have a metal roof, but if you have asphalt shingles, pressure washing can easily damage the roof and compromise its integrity. Let us handle the roof cleaning for you.
